For reasons best known to her, Arpita decided to interview me and my sometime-alterego Anandhotep. While I was going all misty-eyed and feeling humbled by the honor bestowed upon me, that bugger Anandhotep sent me a selfie in which he’s holding out his mummified head that appears to be winking and sticking out its tongue at me. Why? Because Arpita has gone ahead and called it “An Interview with Anandhotep!” I request my friends to head over to her blog and tell her exactly what you think of that dried-up prune of a mummy. Thank you, ji.

This is called “jale per namak chhidakna” (sprinkling salt on a wound.) I hope he doesn’t have a net-connection in his tomb – or he’ll turn up here and ensure that I don’t get to reply to your comments.

Always in demand…hmmm :). Before I hop on to read the interview have a question. Why do you have a mummified Egyptian alterego?

Wifey happened to mention that I might get mummified if I continued working on the QSM Magazine. I guess she’s a weaver of spells, because lo and behold, the words had barely left her lips, that I transformed into a desiccated, eviscerated, and bandaged Anandhotep! (Excellent question! Pure Genius!)

Somali, you hurt me. This is me. Anand. I couriered Anandhotep back to his tomb in the valley of the kings a couple of days ago. He’ll be back in time to bring out the next issue of the QSM Magazine. (I wonder why anyone likes him at all?)

Ohh I am sorry. Didn’t realize he goes back to his tomb and appears intermittently for issuing the magazine. 😀
